Avago 3090 4000 DPI ROM is NOT a valid gaming mouse sensor - Please release a firmware update to save the Kana V2 - Page 32

It seems some people just can feel the difference in different types of mice, I personally can feel even the "small" acceleration on Xai, if you give me 10 different mice tipes but make them the same shape, I bet I can tell you exactly the model just playing 1 minute with it.
i also got an 120hz monitor,is even worse with a 60hz ones,i personaly dont like the feel of the of 3.0 is not snapy enought for me,il just find an old mx 518 and give a trie on my new pc and see if the problem is stil there.

Mice owned: steelseries: XAI,SENSEI,SENSEI MLG,RIVAL
logitech: MX518,G400(no angle s),g500
razer: deathadder BE,2013,TAIPAN( THE WORST SENSOR EVER)
Roccat: KONE PURE,XTD
Microsoft: intelli 3.0

The Sensei MLG last I tried it had the most horrid lag of any mouse I ever tried. I also can feel the acceleration on the Sensei VERY easily especially at low sensitivity on cloth, it's just way off compared to optical. Also, if you are saying the Taipan has the worst sensor ever...guess what the Sensei MLG has the same sensor as does the original Sensei (just a lower DPI earlier version of it). However, the MLG had the original 9800 firmware installed on there since SS hadn't updated it at the time, this was only a few months back though, no idea if they ever actually updated it to the latest Pixart SROM that fixed the same lag present initially in the G500s, M65, and Taipan.

I feel no difference in responsiveness of the 3310 compared to the 3090, I own both an Avior 7000 and FK currently and already owned the Rival before upgrading to the Avior. Super responsive. As far as I'm concerned, the 3090 is obsolete.

But if you think the IE 3.0 isn't snappy enough something is very, very wrong with your setup, or you haven't overclocked it to 1000 Hz. That is one of the most raw sensor mice ever made.

For reference I am using a 144 Hz monitor (the ubiquitous VG248QE).

It's really pretty simple...the 3310 has a MUCH higher PCS, actually adjustable LOD, and 50-5000 CPI native steps in increments of 50. The limited CPI steps available (really only 1 native step), no LOD adjustment (it can be pretty high in general too), and a lower PCS really makes the 3090 just an inferior product.

I use my Avior 7000 every day and not once have I ever missed a bullet that wasn't my own fault. It is incredibly responsive on straight up 144 Hz and a 144 FPS cap. I cannot find a single fault with the sensor, whereas i tend to exceed the max PCS of the 3090 quite often in my gameplay and the high LOD is quite annoying. And it is a massive advantage to have nice adjustable CPI steps instead of just one step that you have to work around.

There's NO way I'd ever use a 3090 for serious gaming anymore now...at least not for FPS gaming with a competitive approach at 70cm/360.

70cm/360 is ridiculously low... I'm guessing you play Counter Strike or other non fast-paced shooter. Regardless, most people don't play with a sensitivity that low... and thus will not have any issues with the 3090's PCS (tbh I'm really surprised you hit the 3090's max PCS, you must move the mouse around like a mad man when you play... weirdsmiley.gif).

Adjustable DPI steps and LOD are just convenience. Not a real difference.

Btw, you might wanna try 120Hz strobed w/ lightboost, just saying. thumb.gif

70cm/360 is ridiculously low..

It's 35cm/180, so not that low. 25cm/180 happens all the time

~10-40cm/180 is "normal" sens range for fps imo

What do you mean "not that low"...? eh-smiley.gif It's low.

I've never seen anyone play with 40cm/180.

30cm/180 is not spectacularly low for competitive FPS
