You mean 30cm/180? I'm confused.

20, 30, they're similar sens range

turning 20 or 30 cm for a 180 on a standard "big" mousepad like a qck+ or a puretrak talent is really not hard - the "low low" sens players get bigger stuff sometimes

3 CD .. LoD oh god, and i was actually considering this.. well nope, hopefully a 3310 fixes that if they add i- nevermind, I accidently started dreaming rolleyes.gif maybe a unicorn will give me monies

Whats up with the short mice though?, ive got pretty small hands, and the IME 3.0 fits like a glove.

That's the thing... you don't want them to fit like a glove. A glove isn't supposed to move around, a mouse is. See what I'm saying? wink.gif

But at the end of the day I guess it's up to preference.

Adjustable DPI steps and LOD are just convenience. Not a real difference.

Btw, you might wanna try 120Hz strobed w/ lightboost, just saying. thumb.gif

120 Hz with lightboost feels like more input lag so i dont use it for now. sometimes i do for fun though. adjustable DPI and LOD are requirements for me...i don't like dealing with the 3090's stock LOD. yeah 70cm isn't too low, I actually play BF4 and COD, mostly BF4 right now with it. fast paced as hell sometimes, works fine.

I think input lag was fixed with ToastyX's StrobeLight. I've tried both 144Hz and 120Hz strobed w/ ToastyX's StrobeLight and I haven't noticed any difference in input lag.

I think he was using that? Maybe just assumed, but i can't really feel anything either - it must be quite small

Yeah that's what I'm using, beta 4.

I don't always respond instantly...but when I do...I'm not in a BF4 server. lol

The limited CPI steps available (really only 1 native step), no LOD adjustment (it can be pretty high in general too), and a lower PCS really makes the 3090 just an inferior product.

I use my Avior 7000 every day and not once have I ever missed a bullet that wasn't my own fault. It is incredibly responsive on straight up 144 Hz and a 144 FPS cap. I cannot find a single fault with the sensor, whereas i tend to exceed the max PCS of the 3090 quite often in my gameplay and the high LOD is quite annoying. And it is a massive advantage to have nice adjustable CPI steps instead of just one step that you have to work around.

There's NO way I'd ever use a 3090 for serious gaming anymore now...at least not for FPS gaming with a competitive approach at 70cm/360.

I'll just quote from memory what Skylit told me recently:

3310 is similar to 3090 in regards to speed, high PCS counts are probably faked, not by user but by manufacturer. Speed is just a byproduct of a sensors framerate limitation and data allocation of the device. So they could produce the same speeds with A3090. The only real benefit of the 3310 is the inherent 50 step increment by dsp calculation.

According to Skylit the lift off adjustment of the 3310 is not that good because it rapes sensor performance on multi surfaces.

So it's not the point of the A3090 being much inferior, the 3310 just gets pushed right now. They could have done the same with the A3090, but apparently PixArt wants the 3310 to be the new flagship.

There a reason why the g100s doesn't get much attention? Has the low max dpi many purists want. over 4m/s pcs. Just because it doesn't have the 400/800 dpi many purists want? does it have a high lod?
