Yeah exactly that's why I usually say if your sensitivity is lower than maybe 40-50cm/360 then you might actually need the PCS of a 3310, but in my case it's just better to be safe than sorry when you go and miss a shot...not like your life depends on it but for competitive games that is pretty important.

Not really, at least for me.
1.5 m/s is all I need for WMO and a sensitivity of about 70cm/360 (1.3 in-game).

If you are mega ultra low sens yeah..

But progamers used and still use wmo without any problems what so ever, and plenty there are quite low sens.

Glad I am not that super low sens, to old to flick my arm around the whole room when playing a game biggrin.gif

Then again I play mostly faster fps like Quake,UT and don't use that super low sens.

Well if you think 1.5 m/s is enough for 70cm then you're playing CS. lol

Admittedly my aim really wasn't that good so I needed a crutch for super accurate shots...turns out to be low sensitivity. You never know what direction people will fire from in BF4 so I need a high speed supporting mouse for that with this sens.

hi r0ach,

what's wrong with the Diamondback 3G that makes you not use it, since you said you thought it has the best sensor you've ever used?

also, what exactly does 3500 refer to (and what would 4000 refer to) when you say, for example, '3500 DPI G400'?
i ask because the G400 uses dpi settings ranging from 400 to 3600, but it's the number 3500 i see when there's mentioning of the sensor..

He said he liked the sensor, not the mouse. Besides, if his broke or whatever it's practically impossible to find one nowadays.

Max. DPI of the sensor. G400 uses an S3095 sensor, which is a Logitech adaptation of the A3090.

As far as my issues with the Zowie mice go, I'm starting to think it's an issue with surface friction combined with the low LOD. I think I'm going to get my hands on some better random skates and paste those under my FK and see what that does.

All my other mice seem to break free from surface friction alot easier, so it might just be "bad" skates on the Zowie I'm feeling rather then some sensor delay.

To bad the AVIOR 7000 is so heavy, otherwise I'd be using that mouse (on top of that if I can get a Zowie mouse to work as I want too I see no need to use it as the FK/AM variants are practically the perfect shape/weight for my personal taste).

thinking about ordering a wired pyra, 400/800/1600 dpi, advertised as 3.3m/s max speed. If any of the 3310 sensored mice were sub 95 grams claw grip mice, they would be an easier sell to me. But massive smoothing and heavy and expensive?

r0ach have you considered getting a Team Scorpion G-Reaver or Frost Wyrm? Both of them run on 3050 sensors but hey there shouldn't be any smoothing(advertised DPI is 500-2000) and the rom doesn't have any prediction (according to skylit)

Those mice are random...

Do you work for "Team Scorpion" or something? hmmsmiley02.gif
