Right now I am folding on a I3 3225@ 3.5ghz and a gtx 650@ stock I am getting about 12k PPD. I am looking to upgrade the gpu. What's the best PPD card I can get for a corsair 430m PSU. Try biggrin.gif

You'd be limited by the single PCIe connector with that PSU, without using adapters. The card most likely to perform the best would be a GTX660. Mine gives ~43k at stock (925MHz?) and up to 54k (P8900) and 57k PPD on the better 7810/7811 overclocked to 1228 MHz boost. Total system load folding on just the GPU was around 150-170W IIRC with a FSP Aurum 400W.

The 660 is going new for around 200 USD, finding a used one will of course be cheaper.

If you dared to use adapters, a 660Ti would probably be your best bet as the TDP is only 10W higher than non-Ti (140W vs 150W), 60-70k+ PPD once OC'd. I usually would not recommend using adapters though.

But tell you what, get a 660 non-Ti and join Laundromatic in the team competition. thumb.gif

Wow thats alot of ppd! So a 660 it is. Will the load be higher when gaming then folding?

Although I gamed with this computer, I had to bump down my clocks for it to not crash, but even so, IIRC it was using more juice when gaming.
