Can I SLI Asus 670 GTX on a 650W PSU?

Thread Starter
Hello, I am considering buying another Asus 670 GTX TOP graphics card to sli with my current one. As shown in my sig, im running a Seasonic X 650W psu as well as an i5 3570k cpu at stock speeds currently. Would it be possible to sli those cards or would that be too much power consumption? If I can, would I be able to overclock my cpu a bit as well? I really dont want to buy another psu and reroute all the cables. All help is greatly appreciated!

would the fan setup I have going affect the power consumption? The asus 670 top cards are stock clocked to 1137mhz so is that still good for 650w?

unless you 50 fans in your case it wont matter.

I ran a 3770k ocd to 4.5 and 2 780s all watercooled pump fans lights and it ran fine until I overclocked the cards, so you will be all set with your setup.

okay, how do I check the power usage so I know if I have room to overclock or no?

get a watt meter, you can only get the total power draw from the mains.
