Mobo wont boot to bios

Hello,

Hopefully this is the appropriate place to post this but i need some advise asap.

I just installed a new mobo (specs below) and it does not even boot into bios splash screen. What i first when i booted was that the display said "new cpu or ram installed, all values reset, do you want to run setup or load default config". Either choice hitting F1 or F2 follows up with a black screen and in the bottom right flips through several codes like: D5, D7, A2 or A0, hangs for a second and then loops back and does it again. All fans are going, mobo never turns off... I've reset cmos several times, used only onboard graphics, unlugged all usb devices and harddrives and have used only 1 stick of ram or switched between slots. I've heard sometimes mobos are shipped with old bios that do not recognize certain cpu types, is that more common or is it time to rma?

MSI Z77A-G45 LGA1155
Intel Quadcore i5 3.4 1155 socket
Patriot Viper DDR3 1600 4GB x2
Seasonic 750w PSU (had this working fine in previous rig)

You can find what codes mean in manual.
Something isn't compatible with mobo.
Most likely you will need to update BIOS.

Had exact issue with Asus mobo that needed update for newer intel cpu's.

No codes in manual. I'm going to try and give msi a call. Is it even possible to flash bios at this point? If i cant get to them at all i dont see how i can.

Update:

A friend of mine lent me a stick of his ddr3 ram with same specs and everything boots fine now. I did have some trouble with UEFI settings vs normal dvd boot. But seems ok now.

Sorry for double post, but is it possible that both sticks of RAM I purchased are DOA?

I'd like to try them again now that mobo drivers are all installed and windows up to date, but if the BIOS haven't really changed at all then would the RAM magically work now?

Is it hazardous to keep testing bad RAM in the board?

I have to go to work which is why I'm not doing this atm, but I'd like to see some opinions. If not I suppose I will test out the sticks again later if I'm not even able to get into BIOS then I suppose i have to RMA. =/
