You can't assume they are lying if benchmarks have just been made, it's like calling the PS3 weak and buggy just because false information on it's hardware has been released before the general public gets it's hands on it.

Wait till the card is released and massive public benchmarks have been released.

It's like all of you guys are hating AMD/ATI for no reason...
the amount of google adds make me doubt that article. maybe its real and the guy simply wants to keep his name safe (nda) but maybe its just a trick to get cash cause just think of the traffic hes getting and the amount of adds.

i nvr trust info if i dont trust the one that it is coming from. if this info however came from a site i trust or a forum member i trust it would b a lil more believable and They created a new site just to show this ?
Hmm..

btw before ATi launched the X1800 there also were alot of fake info before hand (part ofit made by fanboys for fun

IMO, might as well wait as more info should be released soon along with the actual product.

What does he take us for? Why can't he open the picture up in PAINT and color over them?

Depends what you like more, 95% of games are meant to be played with nVidia cards, I personally didn't see why ATI wouldn't work well but after buying my first ATI (x1900xtx) I said I was never going to go back with ATI after so many crashes and just the way it works pissed me off, I popped my 7800GT and was happier then ever again, now I have an 8800GTS and I'm a happy camper. Get what brand you like and think of the games that are truly made for ATI.

Just becuase 'some' games are marketed as 'the way it's meant to be played' and nvidia endorsed, it doesn't mean nvidia cards are guaranteed to play them better...

Everything I read 'pre-launch' about something is always taken with a pinch of salt. I only really believe results and benches when they're done by specific people i trust. That being said, I'm excited as to the hype surrounding the R600 as it can only spell good things for the gfx market as a whole. If it's awesome, G80 drops in price and we have nvidia bargains. I hope it's not all hype and R600 turns up without the 512 bit memory interface and they intro a GDDR3 card with the promise of GDDR4 later :/

Let the price wars begin

Yeah, well from my expierence the ATI brand has not been my friend (haha that sounded funny) for many reasons, but it could of just simply been that my card was bad.

Remember the fake X1950XTX benchmarks before that was released? Now forget all about the pre-release benchmarks.
