800 WAtt PSU

And a :
I7 o.c'd to 4.6 GHZ

I don't think a Haswell i3 has the capability to beat a Lynnfield i7 in anything besides power efficiency lol. Something doesn't smell right.

The only I could think of for this to happen would be if the I3 slot was folding SMP-2 and the I7 slot was CPU, IE folding on a single core?

If he installed 7.3.6, then there's only one type of CPU slot, and it should be automatically set to fold on all threads or n-1 on the default Medium setting.

OP, check Task Manager to see if there are any processes using up notable amounts of CPU time. Even one thread being fought over consistently by FAH and something else can really slow things down.

Thank you everyone for the help i will check my version and look up how to check to change how many cores it is using and hopefully that fixes it. :-D
