How to back up a website?

( sorry if this is in the wrong place, didn't know were to put it )

So guys i have a blog.com website, and I previously had my account hacked and nearly lost all my info on my site, and was wondering if there is any good way to keep a backup of a website?

its basically like a photoblog, nothing special, but I would be upset if I lost anything.

any ideas, tips, or suggestions?

I do suppose a way would be to type everything out in a text document, then paste it into my site, and save the doc, but I often update the site from my phone, and multiple computers so thats not always reasonable.

You'd have to manually back up your data or else find a new service that offers a solution to backing up. If you use something like WordPress you'll be able to backup your database easily:

http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

If the other blog sites are anything like normal websites you should be able to back up the database and files through FTP. If not then consider changing services to a blog site that has the option of backing up your blog.
