[Corsair] Corsair Announces CS Series Modular PC Power Supplies

The CS Series Modular PSUs are designed to deliver stable, continuous power with 80 PLUS Gold certified power efficiency to minimize energy waste and lower electrical bills. The new PSUs are cooled with a 120mm sleeve bearing fan that runs at low speeds during typical loads, keeping the PSU nearly silent during everyday tasks. The CS Series meet the latest ATX power specifications and are compatible with the latest AMD and Intel® processors, with full support for the low-power modes of the latest 4th Generation Intel Core® processors.

Seems like a nice upgrade from the CX series. Didn't find information on the OEM.

The main differences from an HX650/750 seem to be the lower 3-years warranty and a lower-quality sleeve bearing fan.

Seems like this is from Great Wall. Too bad about sleeve bearing, I'd rather have something better for long maintenance-free operation.

First impression: Cheap made in china stuff , with a Corsair warranty

Not fully modular, no Link compatibility, sleeve bearing 120mm fan, no zero-RPM.

But.... good Great Wall build quality. Caps are Teapo and Elite. Fan is Hong Hua and very quiet (of course, it's a sleeve bearing, sooo.....)

Review samples are going out. Nobody has any reviews right now despite today being the embargo day because the launch date got moved up a month (earlier instead of late? THAT never happens) but we should see some reviews pop up in the next couple weeks.

My thought too, hopefully the unit seems well built. But, that sleeve bearing; this fan won't be quiet a long time being horizontal (could be wrong).
Considering the HX750 v2 can be found for the same price (CS750M), it might be a little pricey.

The street price will settle about halfway between CXM and RM series.
