NEED HELP. Broken fan on Sapphire 7850

Hey all,

So i need a little assistance. I was trying to move some cables in my case and caught one of my knuckles on a fan on my gpu breaking off one of the blades.

Now, because it is unbalanced i am getting an unbearable amount of noise when my cards are running at full tilt. Not to mention it can't be good having that much uneven force on any of the components.

What are my options for fixing this? I'm not yet prepared to do a full custom loop yet, however the cards are both OC'd at 1050 - 1450.

1st preference would be some kind of easy fix for the fan itself. Failing that, is there a good option for an aftermarket cooler that doesn't require me to go custom loop yet?

Any help would be appreciated as i'm not sure it will last much longer the way it is.

Cheers

You could always take off the stock cooler and zip tie 120MM or 90MM fans depending on the size of the card. You might even notice a temp drop by adding better fans. smile.gif
