Help needed ASAP: Seidon 240mm vs H100i

The casing is Cooler master Cosmos II. I currently have a seidon 240mm cooler installed. Today when I started up my computer I heard a weird loud buzzing noise which faded away after about 10-15 seconds. Couldn't tell whether it was the fans or the pump or both. Anyway, I restarted but the noise did occur again. Now I'm thinking of replacing this cooler with either another seidon or the corsair H100i. I only have these 2 options available in my city and would only go for the H100i if it's performance is better than the Seidon.

I use my PC for both gaming and work, but mainly gaming.

As evidenced form this review, i'd suggest getting either as they both are neck and neck in performance and would give you close to same results. What budget do you have and whether you want a CLC or a air cooler would also be good as some coolers form Noctua and even CM perform close to a CLC for a fraction of the cost

If you have the money to spend i suggest you look at the cooler master eisburg series otherwise go with the h100i since it has a light on it. Either way the two water coolers you mentioned are basically the same thing.

I would go with the Seidon 240, I wouldn't touch anything from Corsair (exception their RAM) with a ten-foot pole.

Also, the pump on the Seidon 240 is less noisy, get two Noctua NF- F12 PWM fans to improve performance.

Edit.
I personally don't recommend AIO coolers, I think its better with a proper air cooler, unless you go custom water cooling.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'll stick to Seidon 240mm. The noise has occurred only twice so I'll let this one run as long as I can.
