Watercooling Fittings

Right, I'm taking the plunge and going water.

I've put together pretty much all the parts I wish to use. I'm now stuck with the fittings and what I need to get or what is required.

I would appreciate if someone with good experience could check this over and let me know if I'm missing any vital parts and which fittings are required. They'll be a virtual beer in it for you thumb.gif

the picture looks to have:

10x compression fittings ( of tubing size)
1x 45deg rotary extension(pump)
1x 90deg rotary extension(gpu bridge)

I prefer bitspower fittings.

Cool thanks!

The setup will be crossifre, so will I require 2x 90deg?

I only counted 8 compression fittings but I may be missing something.

If you use a bridge like what is in the picture and what is on your parts list then you would need just the 1 90, like the picture.

I'm counting 18 fittings required:

Starting at the pump outlet:

Pump out - 1 (45°)
Bridge in - 1 (90°)
Bridge out to GPU block - 2 (barbs?)
GPU blocks in - 2 (barbs?)
GPU blocks out - 2 (barbs?)
GPU into bridge - 2 (barbs?)
Bridge out to loop - 1
CPU in - 1
CPU out - 1
120 Rad in - 1
120 Rad out - 1
240 rad in - 1
240 rad out - 1
Res in - 1

Remember that the bridge requires 6 fittings (and two plugs). Check what comes it, it is usually just the two plugs.

swiftechbridgeblack.jpg
swiftechdualbridgedimensions.jpg

The GPU blocks require two fittings each. Check what comes with them, usually nothing.

I did not account for the fittings to connect to the bridge. I was thinking along the lines of the EK bridges with the EK blocks which paired together come with everything you need. And it looks like the bridge only comes with the 2 plugs.

I looks like the universal swiftech blocks ship with 1/2in barbs. It may be cheaper/easier to run your cards in series with 1 tube running from the exit on one to the inlet on the other.
