1)Stock video Bitrate are as follows:
720P@12 Mb/s.
1080P@17 Mb/s.

Modded are as follows:

720P@20 Mb/s.
1080P@26 Mb/s.


2) Audio Bitrate quality :

Stock = 96000 Kb/s

Modded = 192000 Kb/s

3) Image Encode Quality :

Stock = 90.

Modded = 99.

4) JPEG Encode Quality :

Stock = 80.

Modded = 99.

5) Modified hammerhead.camera.so for better sharpness of the pictures. Increased the Sharpeness to 90 from 75.

So that isn't user configurable to start with ? I understand using lower default bitrates to maximize battery life, but a simple information stating that using higher quality options decreases battery life would be the best thing to have.

It was more of a rhetorical question, it isn't configurable without this modification, but it should be.

This is just a small explain of how much phone technology is being help back by the ever-so ancient battery technology we've been left to deal with...

Sad really, how much progress things could have made if we just had better batteries....

Guess we'll just have to wait for the implementation of OLED screens to create more headroom for other technologies.
