Anyone Have Anything Positive to Say About Ghosts? - Page 2

CoD: Ghosts has been pretty good so far. For a CoD game, it's pretty awesome. Been playing with a lot of people from here every night and we have a blast. Game runs really smooth and well (aside from the normal CoD netcode, which has always sucked) and it's better than what I thought it would be. Controller support is great for people like me as well.

Honestly having more fun with it than BF4.

In ghosts only real problem i had was mouse acceleration and changing a variable in a config file fixed that. Depending on your system it seems like either one of these games could be unplayable at launch. Thats why i said both are suffering from horrible launches.

Personally, my clanmates who play BF4 (20+) and I do not crash that often. Maybe one of us every few hours.... which is not that bad considering.

Finally something good. Is there a link to the COD Ghosts group here? Obviously there must be people there that are enjoying themselves

quick tip turn off crossfire for the time being, i'm getting better fps with a single 7950 despite using the new beta drivers which supposedly helped performance. Going to continue to play bf4 intel ghosts is somewhat fixed or at least have fov adjustment added can't play it at all right now motion sickness goes mad for me.

I would say most complaints on the PC side are first world problems:

1) 90FPS cap 0mg, but I haz a 120hz monitor
2) No triple monitor support
3) SLI performance weak
4) No FOV adjustments
5) OMG why is my GTX 780 only hitting 80FPS? the game doesn't look THAT good

Spoiled kid stuff IMO especially since I came from the console side biggrin.gif

I suggest you try the game out for yourself. I personally enjoy the game. There is lag during gameplay from time to time but I do expect that to be addressed in the future.

I would try it, but I'm a cheapskate...
