I am quite enamored of the zenview powertrio. http://www.digitaltigers.com/zenview-three-screen-lcd-monitors-powertrio.asp?type=pro

The price and bezel size puts me off though. Is there a better way to do this?

Why not just buy 3 monitors and toss them on a stand. It's what I did, and it was FAR cheaper than anything on that website.

Just buy 3 normal 1080p IPS screens.

Or get 3 laptop panels with universal controllers and put them on a stand that you build. There was a thread around here about that not long ago

The thing is then I will have 3 identically sized screens, and I risk having them not having the same color or dpi. The thing abou that zen, is it has a big central screens and two smaller ones. i'd like the central screen to be 1080p, but I don't have the juice to drive 3 1080p monitors at speed. I'm working with a single 7950 and not all that much cpu.

All three of my monitors were bought at different times, places, etc. I can't tell any difference in color between them.

well I've got 2 1080p monitors atm and they don't match at all. I can't even get them reasonably close.
