Some highlights:
- Level cap of 100.
- 2 new raids featuring 16 bosses.
- 7 dungeons
- LFR/Normal/Heroic scale between 10-25 players, with a new Mythic difficulty for 20 players only. All other difficulties removed.
- Player made garrisons/towns.
- New (greatly improved) models with separate fingers, facial expressions, etc
- Hit/Expertise/Dodge/Parry/Reforging Removed.
- All gear dynamically adjust stats based on your spec, no more needing 2-3 sets of gear to play all your specs.
- None (or very few) dailies.
- Item Squish is happening (will not affect ability to solo old content).
- Toybox and Heirloom tabs to reduce bag clutter.
- A lot more
There is also links on there for SC2 and D3 announcements. Feel free to discuss anything Blizzard in here!
Not all that thrilled with the expansion notice. At least the way they presented it. Too many questions. Guess I'll watch the next panel, or try to since I'm at work.

Still 2 panels that are an hour long each that will hopefully answer these questions.
Really looking forward to the D3 panel too. The leaked trailer really showed how much they improved/fixed the game. Adventure mode will definitely make me throw another 500 hours into it.
I know this is a thread about WoW, but on the paid stream, apparently they are opening up SC2's Arcade Mode to anyone. You don't even have to buy the game, essentially making SC2 F2P if you don't like playing ladder or the campaign.
For people who don't know the lore. Draenor is the new continent, which is outland way back in the day.
The expansion will take place almost completely in the past, as we travel back in time to stop Garrosh after he escapes. However, they confirmed that Garrosh is not the main enemy of this expansion.
Makes me a little angry. I've hated every expansion after BC. if the new one takes place in outlands... its still probably going to fail, but i have to play it...
Agreed. The Cataclysm intro was pretty crazy. I did like the Pandaria intro, but this one was kinda meh IMO. I think the intro that stole the opening ceremony, was Heroes of the Storm.

Catacylsm had a good intro but is deemed by many to be the worst expansion by a big margin. I feel like Pandaria was the 2nd best expansion, next to BC and many people deemed it was going to be a huge flop.
I really enjoyed Pandaria, all the raids they released were top notch.

Wouldnt that just make the game boring? I know a bunch people, myself Included, enjoy quests and lvling up.
Of all the lore they could do with WoW they chose to ignore all of it and go back in time. Really Blizzard, really? This is the best you could come up with? I used to love WoW during Vanilla, BC and WOTLK because of the story, now they are just taking a huge dump on the lore and that's what has me most upset.
But if your like most people, you end up paying for other things like storage and character slots. I've spend over $150 on GW2 at this point, not including the initial cost.
