Actually it IS time travel. During the small cutscene in the trailer you could see the siege of Karabor (what the Black Temple was before the corruption) as mentioned in the book "Rise of The Horde".

Those few of you that completely ignored the initial posting that said "Leave your WoW hate at the door", you people will always find something to complain about. If you don't like the new content, then don't play it. So far I have seen great responses from the majority of the community who enjoy the game for what it is. Blizzard is telling their own story through the game and I am very excited with where they are going to take it when Draenor is dropped.

I started playing again a couple of weeks ago after quitting in early 2012 and all I can say is I wish I came back sooner. Before I never really was into the game for the lore, it was just fun to raid with friends. Now that I've played through Pandaria I'm really loving the lore and seeing Garrosh go back and create his Iron Horde excites me. Can't wait!

Glad they are getting rid of hit and expertise, as well as some other stats. Getting rid of reforging is amazing news for me. I hated reforging. I'll probably take some heat from the leet WoW players but I'm a casual player and the simpler the better. For me that is.tongue.gif

I updated OP including new announcements from Day 2 as well as the updated MMOC link.

Feel free to discuss anything Blizzard-related in here, i'm also greatly looking forward to the new D3 expansion. It seems the fixed EVERYTHING wrong with the game, and then some.

Thanks. I never understood why some people feel the need to come into WoW threads and rant about the game, which is why I put that there. I really feel most of them do it because deep down inside they feel the urge to get the game back, and they don't want (or can't) spend hours upon hours in the game anymore. MoP was a great expansion, much better than Wrath and Cataclysm in my opinion. I expect great things from the next one.

My guild is currently ranked US 13th, and couldn't agree more. I think hardcore players hate it just as much. Hit/Expertise has gotten annoying like it does every expansion, it's a flawed system. When you are currently ilvl 574 like myself, it's more about avoiding those stats because you end up having so much of it you can't even reforge out of it. 1-2 pieces with those stats, and your good to go, yet ~30% of the loot has them Gear will also dynamically scale based on your spec, some classes needing 1-3 sets of loot was very annoying. it should fix any tank/healing situations in raid comps.

Only thing I don't like about the new expansion is that Mythic should of been 25 only. I get they don't want to completely screw over 10mans, but 20man screws off both types of guilds. 20 people is also less epic than 25.

The expansion will take place almost completely in the past, as we travel back in time to stop Garrosh after he escapes. However, they confirmed that Garrosh is not the main enemy of this expansion.

Much more interresting than the panda's. Wont play/buy though because they are dumbing it down even more.

- Hit/Expertise/Dodge/Parry/Reforging Removed.
- All gear dynamically adjust stats based on your spec, no more needing 2-3 sets of gear to play all your specs.

It's just simplifying too much.

I hope the level 100 cap means this is the final expansion.

Damn, it. i would actually really like old draenor. If the game was actually challenging ...

Really like the item squish. Puts the health and damage back to normal numbers.
Resubbing for sure when prexpac patch hits.

I wish there was more feature since most of the team from Titan went back on WoW. At least they are trying to release it before summer 2014.

I will play for sure when it will release, but as for now i am more exited for Heroes of the Storms.

Tell me what was interesting with using a reforge addon you had to use every time you got a new item, and that added a 100-200g bill every time..? In regards to removing the very passive and uninteresting stats dodge and parry, they will be adding some other fun stats instead, like run speed, cleave etc.
