It's just simplifying too much.
I hope the level 100 cap means this is the final expansion.
Damn, it. i would actually really like old draenor. If the game was actually challenging ...
They said level 100 is nothing special, and they've already planned out 2 more expansions.
Nothing is being dumbed down, everyone just uses Reforge Lite to do all reforges in one click. They removed a flawed system. Hit/Expertise makes sense at the beginning of an expansion when it's nearly impossible to get too much of it. At the end of an expansion its nearly impossible to not go way over the caps. A good 20-30% of the gear is sharded in high end guilds, only weeks into a tier, because of these stats. With upgrades added, there is currently far too much you need to do to gear before you can even wear it.
Having gear dynamically adjust to your spec is a great improvement, and doesn't make a class any more/less complex. It just mean you need to obtained less gear. One of the biggest complaints of MoP is that it's not alt friendly. This allows you to have 1 set of gear for each character and not have to worry about what spec you are. This goes a long ways in encouraging alts, and getting them decent gear in a timely fashion.
It also fixes:
Tanks and healers can use their actual hard-earned raid gear when out in the world in a DPS spec.
Lack of Tanks and healers in every queue (LFR, Dungeon, etc) in the game.
Guilds breaking up because a tank, or a couple healers quits the game. Lots of classes can go the spec needed and have the same ilvl.
P.S. Please link your character that was clearing current tier heroics when you quit, since anyone with the "game is not challenging" complaint seems to have never done them.

You will lose some passive skills and some helpful abilities. I wouldn't worry, it's not going to be complex (there are set places you can place buildings, but you can choose what you want there, etc). You can farm there and get mats for raiding, etc. Recruit and send NPCs on missions, etc. I bet you will really enjoy it, it looks like a lot of fun.

Well if heroics are easy to you, you should of had absolutely no problems finding a guild to do them with. The only way you'd have a problem finding a guild is if you weren't good or weren't willing to transfer servers for them. All heroic raiding guilds capable of clearing them will require an application process, mumble/vent interview, and a 4+ week trial process. You aren't going to just find a random group of people capable of current-tier heroics.
Currently we are 13/14H, which is US13 for 25mans. I raid 16 hours a week. I can assure you heroics are not "do your rotation and don't stand in fire". There are tons of other mechanics, what you are describing sounds like normal mode.Edited by Murlocke - 11/10/13 at 2:11pm
