ummm i think 2 X1950's in CF = 8800gtx. 8800gts in sli will surpass a single 8800gtx for sure not sure about 2 7900gtx would do tho

None.

There is no 2 cards that will equal the performance of an 8800GTX..

Also, the closest (x1950XTX Crossfire) is way more expensive.

Cheapest performance is to just get the 8800GTX...

I don't think the GTS will outperform high end DX9 in SLI or Crossfire. The GTX definately will. The amount of memory is not *that* relevant for performance.

Single 8800GTX will beat all DX9 cards in SLI or Crossfire.

An X1950XTX CrossFire set-up will be as close as you can get to a single 8800GTX. It beats it in a few games, but the 8800GTX takes the cake most of the time.
