its a nissan what do you expect?

I'm not sure what I expected.  I guess I've never driven one in real life, so it's not up to me to judge in-game driving physics.  I guess it just seemed a bit wobbly.  Could just be more realism than Forza though.

depends on your wheel too tho anything from g25 and above you will instantly feel the difference
if you have anything below that then you wont really understand anything

About that...  Still need to pick up a wheel.  I'm looking towards a Thrustmaster TX bundle.  My birthday is about a week from now, so fingers crossed that I score.  I would pick up a G27, but their prices seem so inflated.  People seem to consider them as antiques for some reason.  As for right now, I've been using an Xbox One controller.  The in-game settings are tuned pretty well to make the controller feel similar to Forza 4, but it is still probably nowhere near as smooth as a wheel.

Forza isn't really a sim, so you can't compare the two.

That is true.  It is more of a hybrid.  Enough simulation to make it genuine, but not enough to make it too difficult.  It sits right on the line between casual and simulation racing.  They do seem to be making steps towards more realism though.  I think they've started laser scanning tracks like the Nürburgring.

Loving the Japanese pack, the supra time attack is a beast! Haven't tried everything but tried the RX7 tuned and that was very easy to get into a slide!! The MX5 cup is incredibly fun little thing to drive, just seems to lack a little power, but I suppose that's why its so fun biggrin.gif

Bad news on the PC front. Out of no where Kunos has decided to kill modding on the official forums effective on the 17th. Only reason given was "an increase in ripped content" which pretty much everyone has pointed out is a lie. Official announcement and discussions here.

That's not really bad news, it will still have modding support, you will just have to get your mods elsewhere. Racedepartment is a pretty good place.

They're most likely shutting down the modding section on their forum to avoid lawsuits because of the people ripping content from other games without permission. Half of the cars on the official forums look like they were ripped from the Forza series and half of the tracks look like they were ripped from the F1 and Forza series.

EDIT: People putting ripped content on the official forums doesn't seem like it was that much of a problem. I have a feeling it was 505 Games that told them to remove that section. I also have a feeling are going to make Kunos drop modding support completely to try to get people to buy more DLC instead of downloading free cars/tracks. 505 Games did something very similar with Payday 2 when they got publishing rights to it.

Do you have any links about the Payday stuff? I mentioned 505 as a possibility in the official thread, but it was more of a guess at that point.

There are also issues with Racedepartment. As of now, it's basically just for hosting. You can't make your own thread to show off progress or look for help, it's all grouped into a single thread. That was of of the big advantages of the official forums.
