I will check out the car config later then, I bet they used lower brake force as that is about the only way I think in AC. There is only brake force and brake balance, I don't think they've added fading, temperature, sizes, dissipation, etc. etc. the brakes seem as simple as it can really get, arcade like unfortunately.

... on it.

Actually the brakes are freaking strong. 1200Nm 70% front balance. Handbrake 760Nm.
3.5% LSD diff, 0Nm preload, it's not an open diff which it should probably be, maybe small % is more realistic for an open diff but I would say not
If you don't have an H-Shifter the shifting is kind of crazy slow, shift is 310/320ms but total clutch time is 400/800ms.
Kind of weird that an old production car has adjustable camber and such, that's usually a feature added with aftermarket or race suspension.
51% F/R weight balance.
Has slow and fast setting for dampers which to me seems more like a modern car dampers.
Tyre version 6 only.
Tyres seems to be nonKunos, some custom mashup, temperature grip: 40C-80C 100%, which is weird since most Kunos tyres have 100% grip up there with temperature and not at 40C, no way. I doubt real tyres have max grip below 60C unless it's some super soft compound, dunno.
I can't speak for aero as that is so difficult to find any info about and to decipher.

Model seems nice but the physics simulation part seems not that realistic as normal for mods. They always have to make their own tyres that vastly differ from the stock Kunos tyres.

They are working on brake temperature and fade right now. An early version of it should be released with update 1.7. It is something brand new to Juno's IIRC so it will probably take a while before they get it right.

The owner of Kunos did demo the brake temperature a couple of weeks ago in his dev blog.

EDIT: Here it is

So I reinstalled Asetto Corsa today and after all the updates it seems like the game has gotten a bit worse. The camera angles are all screwed up, when you look right, left or back the camera distances are all messed up and not equal from every camera angle. From the sides it shows the car under a zoomed in angle and when looking back (front of the car) it displays the car from a much further and more distant camera angle. Previously each camera angle had the same proportional distance. The way it is now is really annoying, found no camera options either apart from the usual F row which doesnt really help with the issue.

Also, the Abarth 595 Esse Esse has some serious shifting issues, it really struggles switching from 2nd to 3rd when using automatic transmission, it constantly goes between 2 and 3 and only after numerous attempts it successfully up-shifts to 3rd, with manual it is better but still a problem. Also I noticed that the rear engine bay is open but that is actually intentional as it seems like its a tuned version of the original 595.

But nonetheless it is good to be racing again, those issues did not prevent me much from having fun. Cant wait for the Red Pack DLC.

The camera angles are pretty much h exactly the same as they were in 1.0, they did mess them up in update 1.5 for a few cars, but fixed them in 1.5.2.

The 595 doesn't work in automatic because it was never designed to be used as an automatic. You need to drive that (as well as every car, really) in manual. Its also the Abarth 595, not the "original" Fiat 595. It "seems" to be the tuned version of the original because it is the tuned version of the original.

It's a lot of fun to throw around too. But I don't think I've driven AC in auto on purpose. Each time I mistakenly tried the auto-mode I remember how crap it was.

I'll probably host a server on the Red Pack when it released if I buy it on release. I'll post the details if I do host a server. It will gave a password to stop randomers from car hogging.

So I've tested the 595 SS S2 on Nord Tourist I spun once and lost all speed for the uphill straight :/ No damage just spin around because the car is awful, I mean truly awful, the suspension is tragic for this car's weight balance and engine layout plus the tiny wheelbase.
Camber 0.8 to improve steering, toe 7 which zeroes it out so those drifts are easier to actually manage. 34/33psi.

Nord Tourist 9:57s, still had 8L in tank on finish, started with 15L.

It's like a spinning coffin on wheels.

I've had no issues, not one with any side views or shifting. Everything works for me as always. I don't use auto shifter nor auto clutch in AC, I have H-shifter and 3 pedals setup in the controls to avoid any AC nonsensical helpers/ruiners of driving.

Can it make it around Nordschleife twice while I make it around once in 595 standard at 11:42s?
That 595 is a pure troll car, just to annoy everyone by going slow on some cruise server lol
