Both. Press F6 while in game and/or watching a replay. You might have to press it a couple of times to get that view.

It feels like whoever designed it just had their own idea about how a rear engined sports car drives, and then made that rather than actually driving one

The only thing the Yellowbird and the 911 have in common is the chassis and engine block, everything else is different.

The Yellowbird also has 200hp more and weighs 200kg less than the car it's based on with most of the weight being removed from the cockpit which makes the weight distribution even worse (IIRC the weight distribution for the Yellowbird is 40:60 whereas the 911 Turbo it's based on is 46:54)

I guess that would make a bit of a difference, I have driven stripped out 911s but they were on race suspension. But it still just feels off to me, almost as if the engine is mounted on the roof and the springs are 25lbs softer than the standard car.

The devs have just announced they have officially got a license to use Lamborghini.

Up coming cars from Lamborghini include the Aventador, Huracan GT3, Asterion, Miura SV, Countach, Gallardo GT3, Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo, Veneno and Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera.

There is some more news as well
Quote:
KUNOS Simulazioni is proud to announce the official license of Lamborghini Automobili in Assetto Corsa, with a selection of the most beautiful, powerful and iconic models of the prestigious Italian Car Manufacturer. With the addition of Lamborghini, Audi, Toyota, Nissan, Alfa Romeo, Ford and many other contents, Assetto Corsa will bring you the best selection of GT, sportcars and prototypes ever seen in a racing simulation.

Reproducing the cars of an iconic brand like Lamborghini Automobili is a huge honour for us, as well as a very important message to our fans: the decision to make such a huge investment after Assetto Corsa has been released, is the result of our strong believe in this project and in this community. It also means that in the mid future you can expect developments for Assetto Corsa that go well beyond the generic “additional contents”.

As said before, the version 1.0 of Assetto Corsa signifies not just the long-term achievement but also a new start.
Our team is already working on contents and features that are scheduled for release during 2015. Some of those have yet to be unveiled, but we are excited about them and confident that we will amaze you once again. Finally, with the inclusion of the Lamborghini license, about fifty additional cars officially licensed will be included in Assetto Corsa during 2015!

You probably already know all about the first additional package as it is the most anticipated by the community, and we bet you want to know more about it: the Dream pack, featuring the Nordschleife official circuit, for the first time fully based on Laserscan technology, will be a total blast! Your racing experience will be elevated to a brand new level. The production and testing of this package has required a huge work, resources and manpower, but we are sure you will appreciate it, turn by turn, curb by curb. Starting next week, we’ll share with all our fans the work in progress and the news about the state of completion of the track and the ten awesome cars included in the package, namely the Alfa Romeo’s 4c, 155 DTM and GTA, the McLaren’s P1 and F1 GTR, the Nissan GT-R Nismo 2014 GT3, the GM Corvette C7R GTE, the Mercedes 190 DTM and Sauber-C9 and the BMW M235iRacing VLN. We will also inform you about pre-order, price and release date.

Someone says that good things need time. Thank you for your patience and your support, as always all our efforts are focused to improve your Assetto Corsa experience even more.Welcome, Lamborghini. Welcome, 2015!

The bad news is "We will also inform you about pre-order, price and release date." so they obviously aren't going to give those cars away for free which is a shame.

Very glad to see Lamborghini cars being introduced into the game but I am very disappointed that the LP670 SV wasnt listed and likely wont be in the game. However it is great to see the P1 as well as the F1 GTR, really looking forward to those cars.

They really should update their website to reflect such as neither Scion nor Toyota are listed in the cars section. And get a few more Toyotas in there. Don't care about the AE86/AE92, but give us some AW11/SW20 love, 2nd/4th generation Supra's, etc... No I'm not a fan of Toyotas at all tongue.gif

But glad to hear at least one Toyota's in so far, and apparently a fun to drive one (I say apparently because, well, I've never driven one rl... And I'd probably buy the Subaru BR-Z as it's pretty much the same car but comes with a few shinier/nicer extras in the Canadian market.)

I purchased this sim well over a year ago and it's shaped up to be fantastic in terms of physics and force feedback. I really liked how when you started the engine the steering wheel vibrated from the engine, which I'v never felt before on a racing game. The way the GT3 cars all feel, it really got me interested in driving those cars even though before I cared very little for them. I was always focused on open wheel, sports cars, and supercars. Now it's my main focus in racing sims just because how amazing they feel in AC. They didn't arcade up everything to handle like a real race car which really separated the feel from a road car, to a real track car.

But something about Assetto Corsa seems so unfinished and half-assed. Were lacking a solid career. There is no feel of progression, and it forces you onto cars like the Abarth 500 I have no interest in and that car doesnt even belong on a track to begin with. There isn't really any series of races where you'r racing a season of open wheel, GT3, or anything. Just some slapped together time attacks and 3 lap races. I really wish they would have had something more like codemaster's F1 games for their career but I guess its not possible with the limited tracks they made. For a driving sim it's rock solid and the foundation is there, but I just cant help but feel this game is still so unpolished to be an officially released product.

Hopefully Project Cars will have a solid career mode with a sense of progression like the F1 games and not turn out to be a "simcade".

I think everyone agrees on the Career being a halfassed excuse of a progressive game mode, but I think the game justifies itself for now by being so good in all other aspects. It would be cool if it had a career similar to GRID Autosport or something, but improving my own lap times in hotlaps has been the way to go for me

The thing is I really don't care for hot lapping unless its for pole position. So as amazing as AC is with it's physics and force feedback, it's not enjoyable for more than a few laps to check the latest updates and cars.
