Here you can see his screenshot.

But when I stuck it in I was shocked to find out that it is actually running at 915 MHz and 980 when boosted!! Reference nos! Also it shows up as 'GTX660 TI-DC2 Series' in GPU Tweak. Is there any way to figure out exactly which variant is this? Can any one with the DC2T TOP card post their GPU Tweak info screenie? Thanks a lot!

Ye well, that's one of the reasons i never buy Asus GPU's again because they claim to have the best PCB power phases etc. etc. when the truth is the opposite, in general they clock far worse than the MSI, EVGA and even than reverence cards. So its all marketing about Asus let me put it like that.

I had the same thing with an Asus card and i brought it back and get myself an nice MSI 660Ti power edition and it clocks like crazy.

So if i were you i would return the card or sell it and get an MSI or EVGA because they simply rock in everything.

If you can't do that, than i would suggest to use MSI afterburner 2.3.3 because only that version of AB does really add volts to the GPU not that ridiculous tool that comes with the card.

Good luck man and if you need any help with overclocking your card i would gladly help you thumb.gif

I haven't had any problem with Asus problem, but had terrible trouble with MSI and Evga before, I'd rather stick with a powercooler then deal with those two again.

Yes that can happen indeed.

Luckily MSI has an fantastic RMA department unlike Asus.

also i hear nothing but trouble coming from Asus products, they clock bad, are loud etc etc.

I have the 660Ti power edition and get an stock boostclock of 1215 now i overclocked it and play games at an max boostclock at 1306, well that does says a lot doesn't it?

I have my card for over 1 year now and have zero problems so far and if so i go to the shop and get myself an new one as simple as that.

My first card was an Asus 7770 and it was an TOP OC card iic but it was not even possible to overclock that thing with any software, than i called Asus and asked for some explanation and they said it voltage locked, i go like huh? isn't this card meant to overclock? they said, ye well there is nothing we can do for you, i said okay i sell my card and never buy Asus again because their products are nothing more than fancy marketing and nothing more than that.

If you look at benchmarks MSI cards overall clock way better than Asus cards, i hear good thing from EVGA as well but i don't have any experience with them, all i can say is that Asus cards suck ass.

for instance, Asus has an OC TOP and MATRIX card and both are made for overclocking right? so how is it possible that an reverence card clocks better than what Asus calls ''OC TOP or MATRIX''?

Doesn't make sense at all mate.
