Watercooled MSI 7870 with bad overclock result

Hi! I recently watercooled my msi 7870 twin frozr iii, The 7870 has been great no problem at all with stock core and cooling, and I thought it was time to overclock to the max biggrin.gif

and I read the article below to know the approximate average of the overclock result

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/radeon_hd_7870_overclock_guide,2.html

For the default voltage they ended at 1100 MHz on the GPU core and 1450 on memory, so I thought I could be had more striking results, the ugly truth my 7870 was not with my expected, with 1.3v successfully stabilized by only producing 1175/1275, more than that to a black screen but no BSOD no Restart, increase the core frequency by 25MHz at a time

I use afterburner 3.0.0 beta 16 with the following settings
1. Force constant voltage : no
2. Extended official overcloking limits ; yes
3. Disable ULPS : no
4. Unofficial overclocking mode: disable
5. Reset display mode : yes

Driver : AMD Catalyst™ 13.4 ( I use amd 13.4 because it most stable driver than the newer 13.9 even as 13:11 b8, because with both drivers I get lag when playing dota2 )

Motherboard : Sabertooth Z77 : PCIe Express x16_3 (black) bandwidth with X4 mode

Stress tool : Furmark 1.11.0
http://cdn.overclock.net/7/73/73a313d3_furmark.png

Temp @1.3v : idle 33c load with furmark 47c

What mistake am I doing? Please someone guide me redface.gif

apology if there are grammar issue since English isn't my native, thanks

maybe thats the limit of your chip

personally i wouldnt use furmark to test your GPU considering people have complained there GPU being bricked after using furmark

for GPU stress run Valley on repeat about 2- 5 times

oh.. sad-smiley-002.gif it is the last thing I want to hear

whether there is a more hardcore stress tool and easy use?for me its a pain to run Valley on repeat about 2- 5 times every single 25MHz tongue.gif
