Having a little trouble with my WF3 and CGMiner

Thread Starter
Just trying to get my rig setup for mining again, and I see that CGMiner is throttling my engine clock to 900. I have a Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 WF3 with the FT0 BIOS (because I was unlucky) and my bat file has an intensity flag of 20 and a no-submit-stale flag. I'm applying E:1050Mhz and M:1500Mhz through TriXX, and all that is successful is the memory clock. CG is now telling me that my hash is SICK. That does not sound pleasant. Thanks in advance! thumb.gif

Have you tried gradually ramping up the clock speed, instead of just setting 1050? Try that, and see how high it will let you go.

Also, don't bother overclocking the memory on a 7950. All the 7950's I've tried experience no benefit (or almost no benefit) from memory overclocking, just leave mem at stock. It's not worth the extra heat and power usage. A 7970 is a different story, those cards LOVE more memory speed.
