Ok well I just orederd another 7600GT, this time from newegg. If I can find a way to get the other one replaced for free I will be in the money.

(Also, I orederd some extra mouse skates for my diamondback. I found that if you buy something little like that with something bigger, newegg takes a little off the shipping)

They cannot tell as long as it is running the original BIOS, if you changed its BIOS, they will see it. But if you did some overclocking using nTune or whatever, remember it says "Apply settings at startup", that means that Windows forces it to run at these speed, not the card itself, so XFX will not see any changes in the video card.

XFX has a double lifetime warranty, but any overclocking voids both warrantys. The only times it has been overclocked were for the last month it has been at 625mhz/810mhz instead of 590/800. I used NVtweak and the NV control panel to do this. Also, I recently used ATI tool to try and find the max settings, and to scan for artifacts.

Someone I know that works with computers said there is a tiny chip on the card that records the clock speeds that it has run at, and there is no way I can get at it. Is this true?
tell them to go ahead and try to prove it. recording clock speed i think would slow your card down considerabley
