XSPC Bay Res with Pump - Is the pump removable?

Hey guys couldn't find anything on this but I have the D5 pump with the XSPC res and I want to move to a non-bay res and was hoping to do so without buying a new pump. Does anyone know if the pump can be removed (even if it means breaking the res?)

It looks built in to me but maybe someone knows something I don't.

Thanks!

Yea it is. You have the black res? I had one of those once. There is a collar around the pump where it attaches to the res body, Unscrew that ring counter clockwise (with the res empty of course biggrin.gif). You should never have to break a res to get a D5 off. I did that and put it on an Alphacool res.

Yep, that's the collar holding the D5. Watch for an O ring when you separate the two- so that you don't lose it.
