Hey there I own a 3.2 GHz P4 CPU, My mobo is a full ATX MSI 915P-NeoF. As i read in other forums my mobo can not be overclocked just OCing on the Ram.
So i have been looking for a new mobo that would allow me to overclock to high and stable rates

My Requirements.

Socket 775
1 PCI Express x16
PC (400) Ram

That the basics that i need for the right mobo. All the mobo's i have seen that are regarded as a good OCing mobo has PC (800) Ram. Also I dont trust ESC lol cause they sent me 6 DOA mobos . So if anyone has any suggestions please post and help me make a decisions.

O man.. a good OC board that uses DDR ram your saying? Im pretty sure you need DDR2 ram to run a C2D if thats what you mean.

That Mobo is a very good OC'r but there are others with less features that can reach just as high. Actully the Biostar 965PT has been known to reach speeds of 3.6ghz on an E6300. Thats almost a 100% OC. Its also 75 bucks cheaper than that board. Then again though that board has alot more features and ASUS is sick. As for the ram Corsair XMS is excellent ram if not the best. Usually they are a little overprice but i see they are on sale so i'd snag them up. If they were regular price id recomend buffalo firestix .
