P5N32-E + Core2 OC

Thread Starter
I have the P5N32-E SLI with a Core 2 Duo E6300 (Stepping 6 Revision B2. I want others to share their settings.

VCore: 1.54375; 1.2 HT auto; NB Core 1.6; SB Core 1.7; CPU VTT 1.35
FSB 425 x 4 = 1,700
CPU 7 x 425 = 2,975Mhz
DDR2 @ 1000Mhz

I believe my settings could be lower. Naturally all these settings are set in the BIOS.

I am certain this is 100% stable. I want to either lower the volts, or OC higher.

Check back for updates.

Here we go again:

BIOS:
VCore: 1.54375; 1.2 HT: 1.5; NB Core 1.5; SB Core 1.7; CPU VTT auto
Probe:
VCore: 1.42; 1.2HT: 1.57; NB Core: 1.54; SB Core: 1.74; CPU VTT: 1.26

FSB 475 x 4 = 1,900Mhz
CPU @ 3,325Mhz
DDR2 @ 950Mhz (1:1)

51c CPU
30c MB

Testing overnight with Prime95... hopefully I don't wake up to a BSOD. If so I'll look towards upping the NB voltage. Maybe VTT... I don't know why I'm saying this but I'll keep you all updated cuz I know you're anxious to know the results.

I got 7x500 stable day one without upping voltages. This was with an E6700 and my X6800. No voltage changes. I've also been able to run teh X6800 at 13x multi with stock FSB although I haven't tested it for stability yet

using 0602 bios

Sluger, your memory should support the SLI EPP profiles in the bios, you should try playing with it, some very neat effects

Nice, I tried doing that, she wouldn't go. Kept freezing in the BIOS @ 1975 FSB.

I since then changed everything:

BIOS:
VCore: 1.50000; 1.2 HT: auto; NB Core 1.5; SB Core auto; CPU VTT auto
Probe:
VCore: 1.49; 1.2HT: 1.46; NB Core: 1.55; SB Core: 1.55; CPU VTT: 1.47

FSB 475 x 4 = 1,900Mhz
CPU @ 3,325Mhz
DDR2 @ 950Mhz (1:1) @ 4-4-4-12 23Trc 2T

IDLE:
30c CPU
29c MB

LOAD:
51c CPU
30c MB

I was trying for the 2000FSB but she just wouldn't go. No biggie, this chip is just temporary till I get the quad core and my 4GB RAM. The true quad core.

You have C4 ram. In the bios, there is an option for sli memory. I'll take a pic and attach it. The feature auto overclocks the ram to its max factory potential without you messing with it. If you run unlinked you can oc the cpu separately of the ram as well. If you set the cpu OC to 0%, it will only overclock the ram automatically.
