1 TB raid0 faster than ssd?

Thread Starter
so I have two 7200RPM 1TB hds in raid0 and a crucial M4 128gb ssd

I did not notice this till now but the raid0 got 175 MB/s write speeds on nova bench scoring 99pts while the SSD got 146 MB/s and a score of 23.

does anyone know if this is correct? something I am missing? they were both tested in my sig rig.

edit in my current set up my HDD are not set up in raid, just singles

Crucial M4's are known to have slow write speeds, its their read speeds (and access times) that really matter - RAID0 (or nearly anything dealing with HDD's vs. SSD's) have much higher latency times and lower read speeds (random)
