No idea what has happened but i was trying to oc my 780 im now runn 55c on idle . Im new to ocing i was watching video on how to oc on youtube.

Im afraid to oc now after this. I think i dmg it.

All i did:
Core clock plus 100
Memory plus 200
Enabled fan control
Core voltage plus 37
Power limit 103

This was before even testing a game but now even when i go back to default settings it runs hotter than before going as low as 30c idle.

55c isn't that bad. I'm not very familiar with Nvidia GPUs but that doesn't sound like a very dangerous overclock. Any idea what the temp is under load? My Radeon can hit 80c under load and it's slightly overclocked. Your voltage setting confuses me. What's it set on? Stock is 1.162v. I wouldn't go over 1.2.

55c not bad? No, that is high. It depends on your airflow in your case and ambient temps too obviously.

Is your fan curve setup properly? Make sure you applied it to Auto so it reads your fan curve.

I never tried load yet but i just found it odd that if i go back default settings it still runs hotter than normal. Maybe ill leave it default turn of off and try it in moring.

Again not sure i was told than i could put voltage all way max since it should do no dmg and same power limit which are capped at 106% on my reference 780. Voltage is plus 38 mV highest it could go.

Again its just odd to me after oc i can cant get the low temps i was getting going back to stock.
