Well last few days in spare time got what I think will be the only major fabrication done on this build.
Whacked in the Rampage 4F to get a sense of scale and the emptiness that is going to be left
Lower mounting bracket for the 240mm rad.
Sorry no fabrication pics this time
Not everything is screwed down - just enough for support during the mock up - in case design plans change but is in place snug - which is a positive thing I suppose.
This front plate is fixed to 90 degree angle on the bottom and 2 sides...
without & with rad and push fans
also catching a glimpse of the 2 x D5's in the back.
And with the roof in pace this is something like the end result should look
The 3rd fan was an afterthought and m,ore for asthetics and balance - I can't see any performance benefit
While we're here I got a few photos of the loop.
As the 240 rad was thought of after the 2 x 420's were in I haven't changed then pump outlet flow yet which will go into the 240 before going out and up through the lower chamber roof to the GPU's
front 420 pull fans not installed but here can see they obviously will fit with one throw in for reference.
and the pumps series connection...
Here's a good shot of the mod done to the GTX with ports now on both sides of the inlet / outlet reservoirs - handy for fill port / drain port depending on location fitted
Plans for that 90 degree fitting.
Cooling pack - in from RAM > top rad > front rad > res > pumps > side 240 > GPU's > rear 140 > cpu / vrm / ram
