Windows 8/8.1 Display setup

I know this may be a dumb question, but its dealing with research into a dream build computer I am doing.

I was wondering if in Windows 8/8.1 you can set it that in a four display setup, that one of the displays is a dedicated desktop and metro display, and the other three are where the windows open up on? Also can the displays be of different resolutions, as in the Three Main displays that the windows open up on are 4K UHD displays, and the fourth AUX display is a touchscreen 1080P HD?

If you can do a configuration like this, how would you set it in windows, I was going to go with Nvidia graphics, now that the latest drivers support 4K surround, but each 4K display would have to be connected to a all the cards as in display 1 to card one, display 2 to card 2, etc, and seeing as I was going to go 4 Way SLI, the AUX display would be connected to card 4. Though some of the finer points of the drivers are fuzzy still.

So like I said would this be doable and how would I do it?

Thanks all.
