I couldn't disagree more. In your particular argument the problem is unless your sitting 3.5+ ft away from your Tv 1080p looks pixelated as all hell on a 32" monitor. I personally think anything over 24" looks bad on 1080p when used as a computer monitor since in most cases its 2ft or less from your face. If you can't see the ghosting involved on a 28ms Tv vs. a 2-8ms gaming computer monitor then you need to get your eyes checked.
Back on Topic. I'll be very interested in replacing my Asus PB278Q if they release a G-sync version. Imo 2560x1440p PLS/IPS 120hz is not going to happen. If it was it would have already hit the market by now. This tech is great for higher resolutions that are capped at 60hz.
