PLZ help! Upload speeds way low! - Page 2

My speeds are 1500/400 always, dont freak out so bad that you're at 300 up.. what is she uploading that needs that much uploading speed?

Give it a little time, let it refresh your internets.

We pay for 5000/2000 I used to always see 5000/1600+ It busted overnight and stayed busted. My mom connects to a work server and sends tons of stuff, she said recently its barely workable with all the lag.

Do any of your neighbors use the same ISP? Ask them if they're speeds are whacky possibly..?

Are you on DSL or cable? Cable I'm guessing..

Running out of ideas<<<

Your telling me, my mind is BLOWN, we only have one CABLE ISP here. COX COMMUNICATIONS. I asked around, and made people do speed tests. Its all great even a few houses down.

Its to the point where I am sitting here staring at my stuff in amazement, I dont understand how to fix a problem with no physical issues. Omg.

Cable slows down when everyone in the neighborhood doesn't go to school and surfs on the net downstream of you. DSL shouldnt do that

his post before yours said that his is slow and his neighbors' are great.

back to op: have you tried hooking the modem straight to your or your mom's computer and do a speedtest? Troubleshoots also gotta go by process of elimination.
