Thread Starter
I have a BFG 6600GTOC AGP card and it runs at about 70C idle all the time no matter what i do... I've put on AS5 and i even bought a Zalman VF700 and that doesnt seem to help one bit. Can somebody help me solve this problem?

man that is hot do you have any airflow in your case.. you could try to mod the case to get some fresh air in there...

open up the metal pci slot below it to allow some fresh cool air into your case...that should help your card a lot...or it might have a failing temp sensor

you also might have active desktop running...or something that demands your graphics card

Mine idles at 50C and I've got a VF900 on it!

I tried both of these and it lowers the idle temp to about 63C. Is there anything else I could to lower the temps?
