So right now i have this setup for gaming/video editing ect and its good but i want somthing better for games ect.

i5 3570k 4.2ghz
8gb corsair ddr3 ram
evga gtx 650 ti 1gb 128bit / 768 Cuda Cores

Im looking to get,

i7 4770k
16gb corsair ram
GTX 770 4gb 256bit 1500+ cuda cores $400 OR GTX780 3gb 384bit 2300+ cuda cores $500

I also plan on gettin h110i corsair cpu cooler
is it worth it to sell an upgrade?

any advice?

Your existing CPU and RAM are already sufficient, the only thing to do is to get a better GPU than that GTX 650 Ti (non-Boost) 1GB. I'd get the GTX 780 and call it a day.

I mean unless you have $500 ish to spend on a cpu and motherboard for merely a very small (probably 1-3 fps) difference then yeah it does. Your graphics card is what is holding you back
