Time to upgrade? Or wait?

I'm currently using a 2600k @ 4.5Ghz and was wondering if I should upgrade or just wait? Are there any upgrades now that are worth it?

I'd wait unless you're running into a bottleneck or interested in something newer hardware provides besides a little bit of speed.

4.5GHZ isn't slow, mediocre or moderate. Sounds like you have the upgrade bug, just calm down and stop looking at new parts.

What are using the computer for? Unless you were upgrading to a six core I probably wouldn't do it. Neither Ivy, nor Haswell are much better than Sandy (maybe like a 7 or 15% difference). Intel is focusing to much on power savings rather than performance. The new cards also run hotter and often time overclock worse than Sandy.
