Old surround buds on here too, hey Wermad.
Congrats on the new screen. Those pixels are so freaking tiny, you would have to have your eyeballs next to the glass to see those 2 dead pixels.
How do you like it compared to the Qnix @ 96Hz. Probably getting use to the 60Hz pretty soon. How much sharper would you say gaming textures are at your regular sitting distance vs the 1440p?
Uh oh, you might be getting started in an audiophille buying phase, I already been there and spent a ton of cash. But sounds so so so good! Only problem is that once you hear how good it can sound, there is no going back lol. Audio bliss!!!
Missing surrounds awesome 96hz OCed on all three X-stars... not missing it' medicore scaling on multi-gpus (That 512-Bit buffer is just... HNNNNG). Shame that Eyefinity is perfect on Tri-Fire... **** on Quadfire with all of the DP issues with Adapters (I actually go trifire when I had my multi-monitor setup).
As for the dead pixels... They showed up like after powering up by 6 hours! One of them seems to be bigger then the other (4-5 dead pixels combined?) but it's at the lower end of the screen and no way I can see it unless I am looking and the other one is a stuck white pixel also at the lower side.
I consider them Early adopters fees and to be honest they aren't a bother.
As for compared to my 96hz IPS... Low input lag, Sharper more smoother pixels, faster response time makes the U28D590 a better gaming screen. The Qnix however, is a far better general use screen and decent gaming one.
As for the Beyerdynamic.... Pure Bliss indeed! but not gonna go the audiophile root... as long as the sound is clear and being pushed correctly I am not gonna pay %200 more for like %5 difference!
