second fan to modded factory cooling

i have a msi gtx670 vid card and wondering if anyone knows

if a secondary fan can be wired into the existing fans wiring

or will i burn something out?

not sure if there is a load limit or something on the fan controller...

You might not want to do that, typically the fans off the PCB on the gfx card will be 5v fans. Plus they typically high amperage fans, so you really might blow out the fan controller, plus they're not just easy 3 or 4 pin fans...

ok thanks.. i currently have the second fan connected to the

motherboard with a temp sensor wire also connected to

control the fan speed ..its just the temperature sensor isnt

getting a true reading so the fan is only partially working..

and the motherboard bios settings are limited for fan control..
