Custom lightboost refresh rate I found....

I was able to have 90 refresh rate lightboost by downsampling. I basically tested 2560x1440 @ 90 refresh rate and when everything went through lightboost was still on. Would this damage my monitor in anyway? I would also like to get 85hz lightboost but it doesn't seem to work with that refresh rate. It test fine but lightboost is off.

Just tested 75hz and it works as well. Why wouldn't 85hz work?

80hz works as well. Weird....

Try these:

www.testufo.com/photo -- Does panning look perfectly fluid like it did at 120Hz? No double image effect?

www.testufo.com/frameskipping -- Do you see any frame skipping or frame repeats?
(different brightness levels in different squares in the photograph -- take photograph according to instructions)

Often, LightBoost continues strobing at 100Hz or 120Hz, even while the refresh rate becomes 90Hz or 75Hz, causing some nasty motion artifacts.
