What kind of fittings does everyone use for rigid tubing?

I'm looking into this whole rigid tubing thing and considering it for when I put my loop back together and I'm wondering, what kind of fittings is everyone using? I've seen the primochill rigid ghost fittings, but is there anything cheaper? I've never been able to justify spending a ton of money on fittings so I was wondering if there's any sort of generic equivalents or alternative fittings? My plan is to try this tubing out http://www.mcmaster.com/#8532k13/=pc1o1v, so I don't want to be spending so much on fittings if I'm not spending anything on tubing.

So anyway, thoughts?

If you use Primochill rigid tubing, use the Ghost fittings. I don't have experience with using other tubing, but I believe there is a thread on this forum that deals with using Bitspower fittings and another brand of tubing which only comes in clear.
Compression fittings are not cheap, period. If expense is keeping you back, just stick to non rigid tubing.

That's a bit what I was afraid of. I'm thinking something like this might work as a substitute, but these are bspt threaded, not G1/4 so I'm not sure about compatibility there. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004M8T33Q/ref=biss_dp_t_asn
