Did my motherbaord die or psu - Page 3

Best way to tell if its' dead for sure (the motherboard) is disconnect the CPU-4pin (or CPU-8pin connector depending on board) and then try powering it up. If everything runs instead of a brief blip of power such as the fans but you have no POST then the VRM's are for sure toast.

Had the same thing happen to a Gigabyte P55M-UD2, brand new PSU made no difference. I am replacing the mobo next week, will let you know what happens when I try it.

too late i took everything apart i try 2 psu n the same thing happen the fans try to run for a second but nothing i think it is the board i do not think is the cpu
