X560..

Thread Starter
My build atm:

i7-2600K (4.8GHz)
500GB HDD
Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz (4x2)
GTX 460 SE (150W)
560W PSU

I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card either to a Radeon HD 9970 or a GTX 880, both of which seem like their power draw will be 250W, will my PSU run this or will I have to upgrade it?

Yes you'll be good.

Before I write this off as 100% certainty though, what's the make and model of your PSU? Just making sure it's not some REALLY CRAPPY 560 watts

The model of the PSU will be important, that way we can look around the net and see if its a quality unit. If it is, then sure no problem.

I thought you was talking about the Seasonic X 560w with that title. If it is, then yes, it will work.
