November 2013 Foldathon (18th - 20th) - Page 16

Wow... My 2P 2650 rig is not happy for some reason... I've lost two WUs worth close to 600k it looks like. Both completed but neither sent. I can see the last one in the work folder... Maybe it'll actually go at some point, who knows...
Code:
Completed 250000 out of 250000 steps (100%)
DynamicWrapper: Finished Work Unit: sleep=10000

Finished Work Unit:
- Reading up to 64206000 from "00/wudata_01.trr": Read 64206000
trr file hash check passed.
- Reading up to 31549076 from "00/wudata_01.xtc": Read 31549076
xtc file hash check passed.
edr file hash check passed.
logfile size: 215085
Leaving Run
- Writing 96131037 bytes of core data to disk...
Done: 96130525 -> 91387407 (compressed to 5.7 percent)
  ... Done.

edit: I've also had a boat load of the 8101s... stupid things

Weird results, getting lot of failures with Core 17 units (bad state). The thing that is troubling is that I've lowered my clocks well below say BF4 / Metro Last Light and they're still failing. Previously I could run GPU clocks well above anything that was game stable (+100MHz) for folding but now it's the opposite.

Only thing that has changed that I'm running these useless new NVidia drivers for folding (yes I know 780 and possibly Titan are fine but they're an exception rather than the norm).

I've got reverse.. When I play, I have to set it at 35/150, but when folding I put 55/0 and it runs like a charm smile.gif
(Didn't you forget about setting memory offset to 0 ? biggrin.gif)

Yeah, I was getting these on my Gtx 580. So Ihve gone back to the core 15s, which seem to be fine.

The Titan is doing fine.

Im currently running driver 327.23.

No real problems but I am seriously lacking in the PPD department. At one point I was at 60k PPD with 2 670's... Hopefully I'll have that straightened out by the ffw.

You should be way higher than that with two 670s... My stock 670 is pulling ~70k on a 7810 right now. Are you running the new drivers that destroy your PPD?

I was not aware of the drivers that kill ppd. I am currently running 331.65. Maybe that is why I am struggling so much. They had been averaging 200k+ before this FaT.

Same. Rolled back to 327 and haven't had any problems.

Should probably post your issues on Stanford's folding forum

Anything after 327.23 kills PPD.
