Steelseries Rival in depth review - Page 36

Hi skuko, I don't have that problem with those model 's but I did have with some other mice. I think it's our body, in this case our hands that change..
For example I was so used to deathadder grip, since I'm a palm gripper, and I used to love that kind of shape, but I stopped playing when I went on vacation.
When I returned home, my grip wasn't the same anymore and my hand placed the fingers on mouse like it was calling for the g400 design and DA shape wasn't comfortable anymore, the mouse felt bulky..
If I have an answer for this change? No I don't.
My guess is, our body is in a constant change and sometimes we need to have those changes so we can feel more comfortable and we can improve our way of handling things

the top is almost identical but the sides are alot more grippy with the rubber pads

I'm finding that the side grips are awesome and all but the coating on the top of the mouse seems very bad.Its winter now and I sweat on the mouse in very small quantities and its leaving so many marks and ****, the mouse looks like its been used for 3 years.Never had this problem with the ThermalTake Azurues which was like 1/3 of Rival's price.

Hi
I was review Rival, and...
on the forum in my country I heard none of you noticed the positive acceleration. It is about 3% and is less then adns 9500, but in quake u can feel it.
I gave u 3 short wideo, mice was tested on special hardware for test acceleration so moove was perfect same in bought way. Test was made 3 times: fast- slow, slow-fast and fast-fast.

regards

Hehe don't worry. I'm just joking. Sorry my text didn't convey that.

But I didn't find any acceleration in my tests when I first got it back in December.

The game I used for testing was CS:GO though. This was compared to a Zowie FK, which also showed no acceleration.

Hey all ...

I will admit that I haven't read all the pages before my post (at work and too busy)

But

My work will be running a charity event where if we bring in our old keyboard and mouse (regardless of make or model) we will get 30% off of any steelseries product.

I am currently using the Sensei Raw and was wondering how this would compare to the Rival ... Is it worth a swap out ?

It is for the sensor. If you don't play FPS, then it's not.
