Which Router

Thread Starter
First of all, Hi........

Guys, I need to buy a Wireless Router ADSL but I don't know which one...
I've seen the routers from this site:

Router Wireless 54MBits ADSL/ADSL2 Analógico SMC Barricade 74.6 €

Router ADSL CNET WIRELESS-G ADSL 2/2+ 4 PORTS 80.23 €

LINKSYS WAG354G WIRELESS ROUTER ADSL 99.18 €

LINKSYS GATEWAY ADSL SEM FIOS G COM SPEEDBOOSTER 116.32 €

And I wanted to know which one's the best...

Note, that I want a router that had a good broad range, because my house is a quite big, and we have 2 laptops and 2 desktops scattered by it...

Please tell-me, because I need to buy it with some urgency... Thanks...

The latest protocol N has the best range and speed--if your PCs do not already have wirelss then that might be an option--it is @ X expensive.

Other wise look for Speedbooster...that would be the fastest (118 between like devices)

... I ended up with a Linksys Wireless G SpeedBooster because that is what I can find on the shelf. For cards I find the Net Gear has superior signal strength. Dlink is pitiful. Linksys about in the middle. Makes me think Netgear might be better than Linksys...

You need the "SpeedBooster" equipment. I notice it is faster a little but It's really up to you if you wanna pay for it.

I had a D-Link and it sucked. It kept dropping my PPPoE connection and so I sprung for a Netgear and am completely happy with it. It is the WGR614v6 and I have convinced a friend of mine to buy one as well. He loves it, too. It cost me around $45.
