Yeah get the second FTW. The sad part is with these current settings; most of the time i dont really break 100fps or any triple digit framerate. Usually i have to turn down MSAA or play at High Settings to get the 120fps @ 120hz power from these two 670 FTW's. The 780 is about 75% the power (this is an estimate) of two 670 FTW's.

I have seen some voltage modded 780's at 1.31v that come very close to my 18,000 3d Mark 11 Graphics score , around 16,000 or 17,000 but they probably have liquid cooling full blocks on their VRM's and GPU Core. So yeah, you can get a 780 and voltage mod it to come very close to the power of two 670 FTW's but you really have to push it.

I dont think you can break the 100fps average with a "single 780" at 4x MSAA Ultra Settings, 100% Resolution Scale" so if youre planning on doing that go with the second 670 FTW.

the 780ti is close to duel 670 performance so if you wanted a single card that would be the best card to get otherwise the 670 sli is best keep in mind they make 670s with more then 2gigs of vram but they cant use more then 2gigs its a limitation of the card so getting a card with 4gigs of ram is a waste of money because it will only be able to use 2gigs

Team Deathmatch:

I have two 670FTW's and with two they give me an average of around 80-90 fps with some dips around 50-55fps on big explosions/diving into the water after a huge explosion/buildings crumbling left and right

I cannot use 4x MSAA, if i do ill start getting dips down to 15's or 30's. My assumption is im running out of VRAM on those rare occsaions (buildings exploding and stuff)

So my opinion is if you care about having the highest frame rates (i.e. 120hz monitor) -- then go with a second 670 FTW. If you are gaming on a 60hz monitor and just need your 60fps; i say upgrade to a 780 with more VRAM. You'll have slightly lesser framerate than two 670 FTW's but youll be able to do 4x MSAA, High FXAA and possibly have a higher Resolution Scale without eating all your VRAM up (compared to the 670 FTW 2GB cards)

If i use 4x MSAA, i start to cap out at 2042MB VRAM usage on 64 player Conquest Large, so im assuming it uses a little more than 2GB maybe 2100 or 2200MB of VRAM. I dont use 4x MSAA because i get significantly better framerates with 2x MSAA. It may not look as smooth as 4x MSAA (talking about the really fine details of "jaggies/aliasing" on the edges of leaves/vegetation), but at 4x MSAA i get way too many dips i opt for 2x MSAA instead.

What resolution is this? I'm running ultra preset just fine at 1920x1200 with 2GB. Max usage is 1750MB.
