Thermaltake VD4000SWA fit for Haswell? - Page 3

OK i am seeing an issue with the cheap stuff. It's almost all metric. only non metric with 3/8" fittings I found is this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Water-Cooling-CPU-Block-Copper-50X50mm-G1-4-Thread-For-Intel-AMD-Xeon-USA-/321214878651?pt=US_Water_Cooling&hash=item4ac9e613bb Claims to come with screws and backplate which should look the same as the blue version in 10mm below
this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/D-TEK-FuZion-V2-CPU-Waterblock-Intel-Socket-LGA1155-LGA1156-/271284129811?pt=US_Water_Cooling&hash=item3f29cb5013 should work, but it's only $% cheaper so I dunno.

10mm is about 1/64th smaller than 3/8". Two choices if you want to use it. Either make sure your hose clamps are good and tight, or scavenge the fittings off the old CPU block. (assuming they would fit.)

If that is the case you could go with one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Copper-Computer-CPU-Water-Cooling-Cooler-Base-Block-Waterblock-Heatsink-/251244831655?pt=US_Water_Cooling&hash=item3a7f5be3a7

if you can scavenge the old fittings, this one has g1/4 threads http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-CPU-Water-Cooling-Block-Chrome-Silver-For-Intel-AMD-APU-etc-USA-Seller-/321183219111?pt=US_Water_Cooling&hash=item4ac802fda7

All of these are rated for 1155 rather than haswell's 1150,. but the two are identical heat sink wise, so they're just older, and consequently cheaper.

Wait, what are you saying contains the water? If you mean the loop, you will have to drain it (just look for instructional videos or guides on how to do this).

I don't mean the loops , the loops are going to be replaced. what i mean by clean is the radiator , pump and other stuff.
